The Hundis (Boxes in the temples where the devotees offer cash) in the famous Lord Arunachaleswarar Temple and the other temples located in the Girivalam Route were all transported to the ‘Thirukkalayana Mandapam’ in the Lord Arunachaleswarar Temple.
The Hundis were opened in the presence of the Temple Joint Commissioner Ashokkumar and the collection in the Hundis was counted.
The devotees have contributed cash of a total of Rs. 12039202, 372 grams of gold and 2.259 kgs of silver!
