The ‘Archakas Training’ Schools have been functioning in several temples including the Lord Arunachaleswarar Temple at Thiruvannamalai.
As such, the interviews for appointment as ‘Archakas’ (who perform the various divine functions in the temple in the sanctum sanctorum of Gods and Goddesses and also in procession events) were conducted at the Sakthi Vilas Sabha located inside the Lord Arunachaleswarar temple complex.
