Gold prices have declined in Chennai today after showing fluctuations over the past few days. The price of 22-carat gold has decreased by ₹560 per sovereign, bringing the rate down to ₹1,19,200 per sovereign.
Similarly, the price per gram of gold has dropped by ₹70, and is currently being sold at ₹14,900 per gram. Earlier, gold prices had already fallen, with a ₹150 decrease per gram and ₹1,200 drop per sovereign compared to the previous day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remain unchanged today. A gram of silver is being sold at ₹290, while one kilogram of silver is priced at ₹2,90,000 in the market.
