Gold prices have increased today in Chennai. The price of 22-carat gold has gone up by ₹800 per sovereign, taking the rate to ₹1,20,400. The price per gram has also increased by ₹100, reaching ₹15,050.
In recent days, gold prices have shown fluctuations due to global geopolitical tensions involving Iran, United States, and Israel, which have influenced international bullion markets.
Silver prices have also surged today. The price of silver has increased by ₹10 per gram, with one gram selling at ₹300, while bar silver is priced at around ₹3,00,000.
