Celebrate Tamil Puthandu with Southern Spice, Taj Coromandel!

The vegetarian Virundhu includes Manga pachadi (The raw mangoes, jaggery, red chillies, asafetida, mustard seeds, ghee); Tulasi Rasam (A Flavorful extract from Tomatoes, Fresh basil leaves broth and spices); Ulundu Vadai (Spiced, crisp fritters made from Urad dal batter); Kara Podi Kozhukattai (Rice flour, tempered with spices and steamed); Murungai Keerai Adai (Moong Dal, Drumstick Leaves, spices & herbs); Urulai Pattani Kara Masala (Potato & Green peas tossed with Shallots and tempered); Arai Keerai Kadayal (Amaranth leaves, moong dal, mustard, curry leaves – tempered); and Manathakkali Vathal Kuzhambu (Black nightshade berries, tamarind, tomato curry).

Non-vegetarians can delight in Kozhi Melagu Chaaru (Black pepper corn infused chicken soup); Eral Porichathu (Crispy fried bay prawn tail); Kozhi Uppu Kari (Slow roasted chicken with chili and homemade clarified butter & spices); Vaigai Kari Sukka (Succulent lamb shoulder meat, cooked gently with spices, a popular dish from Madurai); Meen Monga Curry (King fish cooked in a green mango and coconut curry);  and Attu Erachi Kuzhambu (Succulent lamb shoulder meat, cooked gently with spices, a popular dish from Tamilnadu).
